Linguistica

Linguistica was created by Joëlle Sampy who spent 10 years doing research in French language and Linguistics at Ph.D. level and has taught these subjects in French and British universities. She taught French as a foreign language at the INSEAD in Fontainebleau (one of the world's top business schools). As a lexicographer, she worked on several French monolingual dictionaries (for example the Grand Robert de la langue française in 9 volumes which is the French language reference) and on bilingual dictionaries like the Collins-Robert French-English Dictionary which is also the reference in its field. Joëlle Sampy has also worked on many educational French language textbooks for a number of major French publishers (Hachette, Didier, Nathan, etc.). She has also translated several linguistics books from English to French, notably Essays on Form and Interpretation by the well-known American linguist Noam Chomsky.
This extensive theoretical knowledge and practical experience in various aspects of French language studies has served as the basis for developing Linguistica's instensive French language courses.

All tutors who may intervene are all highly qualified, experienced and specialists in teaching French as a foreign language. They are currently teaching, or have taught in French universities.
